The short version
- 14-day refund window. If you were charged by accident, charged twice, or bought a plan you haven’t really used, email us within 14 days and we’ll refund it.
- Failed conversions are never charged. If a conversion fails, those pages are not counted in the first place — so there’s nothing to refund.
- Never-expiring credits never expire — and are non-refundable once granted. Because they never lapse, they stay usable forever instead of being refunded.
- Paddle handles the money. Paddle is our merchant of record, so refunds and disputes are processed through Paddle, which also reverses any tax.
1. Our refund posture
BayanSheet bills honestly, so refunds should rarely be necessary. Only successfully converted pages ever count against your allowance, and cancelling is one click with access kept until the end of the period you already paid for. On top of that, we offer a clear, standardized refund window described below. If the product materially failed you — for example the output was unusable — we refund; this is a stated promise, not a grudging exception.
2. 14-day refund window
You can request a refund within 14 days of a charge in cases such as:
- Accidental purchase — you subscribed or bought a credit pack by mistake.
- Duplicate charge — you were billed twice for the same thing.
- Unused purchase — you bought a plan and haven’t meaningfully used it yet.
- Material failure — the product didn’t do what it promised for your bank or statements.
Refunds may be full or partial depending on how much of the purchase has been used. We look at each request fairly and in good faith.
3. Failed conversions are never charged
If a conversion fails, those pages are not counted against your allowance in the first place, and if pages were ever provisionally deducted for a job that then failed, they are returned to your balance. So there is normally nothing to refund for a failed conversion — you simply keep the pages.
4. Never-expiring credits
The trade-off, stated plainly: credit-pack pages never expire — they are not tied to a subscription, are not reset by billing periods, and survive cancellation. Because they never lapse, once granted they are non-refundable: they remain in your balance until you use them, however long that takes.
The 14-day window above still applies to a credit pack that was an accidental or duplicate purchase and is entirely unused — in that case we can refund it and remove the unused credits.
5. How refunds are processed (Paddle)
Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record and the legal seller of the product to you. Because Paddle is the merchant of record, refunds are issued through Paddle, and Paddle also reverses the VAT / sales tax it collected — we do not have to unwind tax ourselves. A refund is returned to your original payment method. The time it takes to appear depends on your bank or card provider, typically several business days.
6. How to request a refund
Email support@bayansheet.com with the email on your account and the approximate date of the charge. That is all we need to find it. You may also request a refund directly through the receipt Paddle emailed you, since Paddle appears as the seller on your invoice and card statement. We aim to respond within a couple of business days.
7. Chargebacks and disputes
If something looks wrong, please contact us first — a refund is almost always faster than a bank dispute. If you raise a chargeback with your bank, Paddle notifies us and manages the dispute on the seller side; access or credited pages tied to a reversed transaction may be revoked. We treat genuine mistakes generously, and reserve the right to decline service in cases of repeated or abusive chargebacks.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the product evolves, and will update the “last updated” date above. Material changes will be communicated to account holders.
