1. Agreement
These terms are an agreement between you and BayanSheet (“we”, “us”). By using bayansheet.com or creating an account, you accept them. If you use BayanSheet on behalf of a company or a client, you confirm you are authorised to accept these terms for them.
2. The service
BayanSheet converts bank statement PDFs into Excel and CSV files. The conversion runs inside your browser — your statements are not uploaded to our servers (see our Privacy policy for exactly what we do and don’t store). Every conversion includes a reconciliation check that verifies the opening balance plus transactions against the closing balance, and reports the result honestly.
3. Your account
You can try the free tier without an account. Paid plans require an account with a valid email. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for activity under your account.
4. Free tier
The free tier grants a small, one-time page allowance so you can test the product with your real statements. It does not reset monthly. We may adjust the size of the free allowance for new users at any time.
5. Paid plans
- Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually and include a page allowance that resets each billing period. Unused subscription pages do not roll over.
- Only successfully converted pages count against your allowance — if a conversion fails, those pages are not charged.
- Prices may change. If we change the price of your plan, we will give you advance notice by email, and the new price applies from a future billing period — never retroactively. If you don’t agree, you can cancel before it takes effect.
- Upgrades take effect immediately with a fair prorated charge; downgrades take effect at the end of the current billing period, so you never lose value you already paid for.
- Taxes (e.g. VAT) are calculated and shown at checkout.
6. Credit packs — credits never expire
Our promise: credit-pack pages you buy never expire. They are not tied to a subscription, they are not reset by billing periods, and they survive cancellation. They remain in your balance until you use them.
7. Cancellation — one click
- You can cancel your subscription in one click from your account — one clear confirmation, no retention hoops, no “call us to cancel.”
- You keep full access until the end of the period you already paid for. After that, your plan ends and you are not billed again.
- Remaining monthly allowance pages lapse when the paid period ends; credit-pack pages are kept (section 6).
- If a renewal payment fails, we don’t cut you off instantly — the payment is retried over a grace period while you fix your card.
8. Billing, refunds and disputes
Payments are handled by Paddle, our merchant of record. Paddle is the legal seller of the product to you: it appears on your card statement and invoice, processes your card (we never see card details), and handles applicable taxes. Refunds and billing disputes are processed through Paddle.
Our refund posture is simple: failed conversions are never charged in the first place, and if the product materially fails you — for example the output was unusable — we refund. Full details are in our Refund policy, or contact support@bayansheet.com.
9. Acceptable use
- Only convert your own statements, or statements you are authorised to process (for example, as an accountant acting for a client).
- Use the service only in compliance with applicable law.
- Don’t attempt to disrupt the service, circumvent usage limits at scale, or resell access without our agreement.
10. Accuracy — what we promise and what you must do
Banks change their statement layouts, and scanned or unusual PDFs are genuinely hard. We do not warrant that every bank layout converts perfectly every time. What we do promise is honesty about it: every conversion runs a reconciliation check (opening balance + transactions = closing balance), and we tell you clearly when something doesn’t add up instead of hiding it.
You must review any output that is flagged for review before relying on it, and you remain responsible for verifying converted data before using it for accounting, tax, audit, or any other professional or financial purpose.
11. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses (including losses arising from reliance on unreviewed or flagged output, per section 10). To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim is limited to the amounts you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts of the UAE, except where the law of your country of residence grants you mandatory consumer protections and jurisdiction that cannot be waived.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the product evolves. For material changes we will notify account holders by email before the changes take effect, and we will update the “last updated” date above. Continuing to use the service after changes take effect means you accept them.
